The event entitled “Planète Sonic Art Fest 2026” (hereinafter, “the Festival”) is organized by the Planète Sonic association (hereinafter, “the Organizer”), a community of fans dedicated to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
Independence
The Organizer operates independently and unofficially. The Festival is in no way affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed, or administered by SEGA, X (Twitter), or any other platform. The trademarks, characters, and universes mentioned remain the exclusive property of their respective rights holders.
Purpose
The Festival aims to showcase Sonic fan artists, highlight their work, and present a selection of artworks published between 2024 and 2026 (inclusive), chosen by the community.
Eligibility and Participation
Only works already published between 2024 and 2026 (inclusive) are eligible. This is not a commission request nor a call for free work. Participation in the Festival is free and implies full acceptance of these rules.
Article 2 – Participation Conditions
Legal Age
The Festival is open to anyone who has reached the legal age in their country. Minors cannot participate directly but may help promote the event by nominating other artists or retweeting the official post.

Participation takes place exclusively on X (Twitter) and Bluesky. The submitted artwork may be posted on X or Bluesky for the contest. Participants must also have their direct messages open during the contest and be able to provide a valid PayPal, Venmo account, or a Japanese bank account any potential prize.
Geographic Availability and Compliance

AI-generated or assisted artworks, as well as plagiarism or appropriation of others’ work, are not allowed.
Moderation
The Organizer may refuse or remove any artwork that does not meet these criteria, or any submission deemed defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, NSFW or disturbing, in violation of applicable laws, or contrary to the values of respect and kindness upheld by the Planète Sonic community.
Responsibility and Modifications
The Organizer cannot be held responsible for platform malfunctions (X/Twitter, Bluesky) that may affect participation or the posting of artworks. Planète Sonic commits to processing each submission received. If necessary, the Organizer may modify dates, adapt the format, or cancel the Festival, while informing the community whenever possible.
Article 4 – Rights and Use of Artworks
Ownership
The artist retains full copyright over their artwork.
Use within the Festival
By participating, the artist grants the Organizer a free license to use their artwork exclusively for the Festival, including communications and publications related to the event.
Limitations
Artworks may not be used for merchandise sales or any commercial purposes unrelated to the Festival, unless prior written consent is obtained from the artist.

All personal data collected as part of the Festival will be used solely for organizing the event and managing participants and winners.
